A couple of years ago as I watched the second impeachment of Donald J. Trump on YOUTUBE (as I said in earlier posts I’m an essential worker and I have to be at work at 5:00am so I’m not able to watch everything live), I kept asking myself what’s the endgame? I was asking this question, not of the managers, but of the senate Republican’s especially of the Ted Cruz’, Josh Hawleys’, Mike Lee’s etc. What’s the endgame? I asked the same question of the Trump presidency, what would be the endgame if Trump had won again, as we know he didn’t, in 2021, but 2024 is around a corner. So again I ask what is the endgame, why did the senate choose not to convict Trump, and what will America look like a year or so from now? I believe Trump wants America to look much like the American Capitol did on January 6th, 2021. Trump doesn’t mind violence as long as he doesn’t have to get his hands dirty, as long as the violence is against Black and Brown or their sympathizers, as long as it terrorizes his enemies but not only his enemies but those who believe in democracy, Trump will be satisfied. For the simple fact one cannot love Democracy and Donald J. Trump equally and Donald would rather be loved more than Democracy. Also, one cannot serve two masters. However one can serve duplicity and duplicity is the devil’s calling card.
America has always benefitted from her “image”, and she sometimes, if not many times has reacted to her image being threatened more than she has reacted to being true to her values. There was a time when America reacted to Black children being being bombed, hosed down, and attacked by police dogs, there was time where America showed shame. Well at least she pretended to. Mitch McConnell has seen the real side of America’s Dorian Grey persona, he’s seen this in Donald J. Trump and he’s seen it with Donald J. Trump, and chances are Mitch McConnell will see it after, if he regains power in the senate. Mitch McConnell’s deal with the devil, or in this case Trump was if Trump was president Mitch McConnell would get his justices. Well Mitch McConnell has his justices, and however shrewd Mitch McConnell has been in getting these justices I don’t think he looked to and toward the endgame. The difference before Trump was that the true image was always inverted by some abstract catalyst or anomaly. Something to always think that America was forever attractive and decent. Whether it be a Brittney Spears or Tiger Woods there was always something bright and shiny to distract us from the true image of America. Donald J. Trump was one of those shiny objects up until the point he became president.
Donald J. Trump became the personification of the American Dorian Grey, willing to move past pretense of the decent image and decided to embrace the picture of the American Dorian Grey, one the character Dorian Grey would try to hide. Trump was comfortable with the indecency, the vulgarity, the indifference, the malice toward others. He didn’t care if white America looked like Steve Bannon he just didn’t want it to look like Idris Alba at any cost. Neither does Mitch McConnell. Regardless of all the self-entitled filth we saw on January 6th, 2021, Mitch is truly ok with it, like I said he’s seen it before, just not personified. So now he tries to hide behind some fake ass duplicity to cover up the filth and pretend that his policies and obstruction to other policies will make America look like the dashing and attractive Dorian Grey again, so he and those like minded colleagues can keep gutting the poor while exalting the economic vampires. There’s one problem though too many have seen what the American Dorian Grey sees when they look at their picture, portrait, or in the mirror and yes some honestly don’t care. So what they’ll ignore the cysts, pimples, boils, lard, and deformities on the American persona as long as it is male, authoritarian, and white many feel, it’s alright.

I’ll ask you who does that look like in the mirror, be mindful of the date on the book.
